Its Been A While...

I have been very bad!  I don't know what happened to me blogging but once I got off the ban wagon...I could not get back on!  I just feel like we haven't stopped running.  (although I don't believe we did a thing weekend before last! ha)  I have some pictures of Mason when it was much warmer on my phone.

Several days a week when I get to Mrs. Pat's house to pick up Mason, he has this wonderful hat on!  They get them at the dollar store and all the kids LOVE them!  They are similar to little bonnets that girls wear...he makes his Daddy proud! =)

Figured out I could put my toothbrush in my jeans pocket.  So stinkin excited.

Before John and I's date night.

"We're the best two friends that anyone could ever have"

Happy St. Patty's Day! (a week or two ago)

Putting on some sandals for the first time.

Loving the outfit, but PLEASE give me a haircut Mrs. Peggy! =)

Bad picture but ya gotta love the Polo outfit.

Last Wednesday through LATE Saturday night, I went to a dental conference with work to the ATL.  John and Mason held the fort down and did a great job might I add.  The laundry and dishes were all done!    Here are a couple of phone pictures from there.

When we first got there.

The hotel at 47 floors and you couldn't see all of them from the lobby.  It was crazy.

Before one of my lectures....unfortunately I thought it started at 8:00 instead of 8:30!

This is what I was so excited to come home to!  Here he is eating a cupcake! =)

Look at that belly!

So also, Mason turned 17 months old on the 16th of March.  What a big, big boy.  He is learning new words daily.  He is pretty much trying to repeat anything you say.  The only time he is quiet is when we are around people he doesn't see daily...shy little guy.  He is just getting so big now! =(

We also had a little incident with a hot pan.  I took it out of the oven, sat it on the stove, and the next thing I know he is trying to grab the pan.  It was terrible!  Moms with little children: DO NOT PUT ANYTHING HOT ON THE EDGE OF THE COUNTER!!!!!!!  Even if you think they can't reach it because one day they will be able to!  Once the burn sat in, he was pretty miserable.  But once he went to sleep he was just fine.  Never shed another tear over it.  What a tough little guy.
Well hopefully I am now back in the groove of blogging.

Can't get enough of the Zoo!!!

It was another beautiful weekend!  (I actually even laid out in the backyard for a couple of hours)  We got up on Saturday morning ate breakfast and decided to enjoy the day at the zoo.  Mason is going to start thinking this is an every weekend thing.  We had a great time again!  Here are all the pictures:

Walking in...so excited!

She was feeding the penguins.

I dunno who was more excited...

This big guy was pretty smart.  He didn't have to swim around to catch the fish.  If he just stayed there, she would eventually throw some at him too...hence the big belly.

Mason was trying to catch a glimpse of the sheep.

There was another rooster in the cage next to this one.  They kept pecking each other and jumping on the fence!

And when he gets bored...just give him some cheese-its and water.

The monkey were out of control.

Always eating bamboo...

When we got home we let Mason run around "free".  Here are our little animals here.  =)  They sure do know how to mess up a clean house in one day!

I sure do hate to bore you with the same ole zoo pictures but it really is always so much fun.  Until next time!

Best Buds

We had some company this weekend.  Mason was so excited to play with Reese!  He actually had to leave daycare Friday because he wasn't feeling well and had a fever.  Turns out he is A-ok...guess those teeth are still giving him problems.  He has a couple others now also coming in.  Nothing a little Tylenol couldn't fix!

Watch out.  She's coming through.

She means business...

Look at this drool!!!!!!

You could say they got into some toys...

"She's pretty good with this IPhone"

So so so sweet.  =)

"I like that app Reese!!!"

Lights on...

Lights off...
***Note:  Not too sure if it is very smart to get a fridge with the freezer on the bottom with a young child!***

 Well hello drool boy.

We had fun playing Reese!
