We had a big Fourth of July celebration we were anticipating.
As always....I took way too many pictures.
But before that, we had Kaden's birthday party across the street.
Best buds right here.
We headed to Pickwick for the third year in a row for the Fourth.
Thankfully, the weather was much more promising this year.
We left when John got off work and grabbed dinner in Iuka. Brody was not very impressed with out dinner choice.
So excited to finally be there.
Brody didn't seem to remember the house much from last year, so there was so much excitement.
Round 1.
Zinc on and ready to party.
Time to jump in.
Reese and Mason were fearless.
Brody loved jumping and swimming.
Playing on the tube.
We brought floats and they were clutch.
This is basically what Becca and I did the entire time. Road on the boat and took pictures of our kids tubing. I tried to only post a couple of each ride.
Reese and Mason broke it in first.
John, Brody, and Mason.
Off they went.
Becca, Reese, and Anderson were up next.
Love the hair and facial expressions. =)
Robert and Reese.
Brody was begging to go without an adult. We were cautious and drove carefully, but Mason did so well with him. He held onto him and talked to him the entire time.
Robert was in the air the whole time.
Talk about being sore the next day...
This was when I threw my sunglasses away....they were crooked to say the least.
Fun day!!!
Nothing says successful day like two little boys falling asleep on the ride in to dock.
They rallied and turned into ninjas.
Mason trying to be funny...
Dinnertime on the deck.
Nothing says 'Merica like hamburgers and hot dogs.
Aunt Becca with the win for breakfast.
Round 2.
We definitely had a little more USA spirit this day. definitely
Family pic.
The kids were just loving pictures by now...
Blue-eyed boys
We love a good bandana.
Nothing says safe like your sweet, older, girl cousin with all these boys around. =)
Day 2 weather was great, but it was a bit windy which made for unsmooth water. It was also a bit hard to do much swimming. So another day of tubing it was.
John fell off. Mason was proud.
Becca and I gave it a go.
We got some serious air.
This was Brody's last time to tube. He kept saying the level was too hard. Ha. Video games much?!
These pros stayed on.
We tried and tried to throw them off, but they held on.
Fun, fun weekend.
We got home, had a water balloon fight, and all attempted to stay awake for dinner.
Of course we had to have a photo shoot with these balloons. We got this one picture and the S popped. No worries though, we made it work.
Year 1: Reese (6), Mason (4), Brody, Anderson, Griffin (1) ****What were we thinking?!****
Year 2: Reese (7), Mason (5), Brody, Anderson, Griffin (2)
Year 3: Reese (8), Mason (6), Brody, Anderson, and Griffin (3)
