Santa, I Believe

A couple of weeks ago we went ice skating for Lyndsey's birthday and I forgot to post pictures.  It was really fun!  I haven't done that in a looooooong time. 

Last weekend Dave and Jenna got married!  Reese was the flower girl and rocked it!  =)  Here are a couple of pictures.

It also snowed earlier in the week.  Didn't stick, so the city went on as usual but it was very pretty to look at.  Mason loved watching "it snowman!"  (at least he gets it.  haha)

Friday night we did a lot of nothing.  Mason did enjoy getting in his empty diaper box.  It just made me wonder why in the world am I buying him all these Christmas toys when he is entertained so easily by boxes!

This morning we all went downtown to support Blake run her first half marathon as well as all the other runners.  It really was amazing to see all those people running.  There were thousands of people down there!  We worked on a sign Friday night.

After a nap, I did a little shopping with my mom and then Mason tried to help me make Snickerdoodles.  He got a little impatient and did not understand the whole baking thing, so he snacked on  boxed cookies while John and I waited on these.  =)

We had decided earlier in the week to go to Starry Nights tonight.  I know Mason will love all the lights this year.  But we have been having some trouble lately with naps....he will take them at daycare (most of the time) but will NOT at home!  Im getting a little worried he is growing out of them.  So when he doesn't get a nap...he is exhausted by 5:30!!!  He can't go to sleep then because he will never go to bed!

Well of course today he didn't take a nap.  By the time we got in the car, got cash to pay for Starry Nights, and was turning on Walnut Grove, the Little Guy was zonked out!  And there was no waking him up.  So we turned around and headed home.  Here he was with me on the couch...

Out like light.  

We might take him one night after work when he has slept at Mrs. Pats!  I hope its soon because I just know he will be amazed.

Thanksgiving Part 2

Saturday we went to John's family Thanksgiving at Grandma Reba's house.  Mason had been looking forward all day to "play with Reese".  That is all he would say until he got there!  There was of course a ton of food and her famous chocolate pie, which Mason devoured!

We ate too much food again.  Then went out to eat last night for my Dad's birthday.  I feel like all we did was eat the past four days!  I was ready to get back into the swing of things today! =)

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

Friday, after my Mom and I did all kinds of shopping, we all put up the Christmas tree.  We haven't completely put up all the decorations but got a good start!  We put the Michael Buble cd on and had some fun.

Thanksgiving Part 1

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday with my family.  Mason had such a good time and did well, especially since he missed his nap!  Here are the millions of pictures I took.  =)

And first up, of course, is the cutest little boy in his "dinosaur" shirt on.  (only way he would agree to wear it was if we stopped calling it a turkey and started calling it a dinosaur)

I have soooo much to be thankful for this year.  My amazing husband who is a wonderful father to our perfect little boy, awesome family and friends that surround us, the fact that I love my job, the list goes on and on and on.  Not to mention, we have one more Thanksgiving to do tomorrow with John's side of the family!!  

Catch Up

This past weekend Ole Miss played LSU so of course we headed to Oxford for that game.  We had a very fun, long day in the Grove but of course the outcome of the game was a different story.  Im ready for next season because it can only get better!  =)

Sunday we all had a fun, lazy day just sitting around and cleaning the house.  We ended the day watching and dancing the AMAs.  Mason LOVES award shows because he has so much fun "dancing".  He actually just runs in a circle over and over again.  But he is constantly saying "Come on Mommy, come dance!"  We were taking a break here...

I am going to post the videos of his dancing tomorrow night once I get them uploaded.  They are priceless. =)
