Part 2: End of Baseball, Story Book Parade, Halloween

One of the Moms on our team is so so great at taking pictures and sending them to us!

These boys played their last tourney in a Perfect Game majors tourney with the best of the best from DFW.  These teams have kids from OK and all over TX on them.  These boys should be so proud of themselves.  We made it out of Saturday in the championship bracket.  If you didn't seed high enough, you played in a consolation game Sunday.  To be playing in the bracket with the best of them was amazing.

These boys also found out right after that their coach will not be returning next season.  He and his wife will be moving to OK for his job.  We are SOOOOOO sad about it but the club has already found a new coach and he was at this tournament hanging out with them.  We had a fun lunch after with the new and old coach.  Boys (and parents) are sad but they will be just fine.

We lost on Sunday the first game out.  That team was just awesome and had a great great pitcher.  It was good to see and know what we need to work on.  Mason did break up the kid's no hitter with a double.  Ha

Brodys team also played in a tourney that weekend.  Thankfully, Judy and Larry came in town and were able to get him where he needed to be so we could be with Mason and his team.

They ended up winning on Sunday and playing in the championship game which was way too late.  Of course with the bottom of the last inning to be played, we got stuck in a 1.5 hour lightening/rain delay.  Just a random pop up storm.  We all had to wait in our cars and they let us back on the fields at 8:30pm.  (These fields are exactly an hour away from our house!)

We walked it off and won the tourney.
To say these boys were excited is an understatement.

Talk about tired.
We didn't get home until 10:30 after a LOOOOOONG weekend of ball.

                                                                        Red Ribbon Week.

Both boys participated but I had to work more than usual and did not get good pictures!

Last game of the season was a league play game.  Got the W and also had to say our goodbyes.

These three have been together for 6 seasons!

                                                            Annual Spooktackular Feast at work.

                                                        Storybook Character Parade

LOVED getting to be in the school like normal.

We didn't do much fall festivities with our busy life BUT I did order a pumpkin pizza.  Ha

Mason's team wanted to go to a haunted house Saturday night.  I had never been and I think we were all nervous.  Ha.  The boys were wondering who's great idea it was once we got there.  We ended up having a GREAT time.  Long lines since it was Halloween weekend but what a fun night for the boys.

They survived!

We always have such a fun Halloween in our neighborhood.  This year did not disappoint!

This was the first picture I got because Brody was annoyed about taking a picture.
I knew I had seen that face before!

What a crew.

They figured it out after finding the neighbor on the golf cart.
Door to door by golf cart.  Lol

And we always love the firetruck appearance with glow sticks!

One of our fellow bunco gals always has the best house.  Always passes out popcorn and drinks and this year they included a haunted house.  SOOOO fun!  They win every year.

I don't know how many houses had jello shots this year but it is more and more each year! Ha

Now it is time for Thanksgiving and Christmas!!!!!!
