Quick trip

John and I had such a great time in Orlando. It was a quick trip but we made the most of it. The weather was perfect!! 80 degrees! Much better than this cold front that just moved into Memphis. 

 The first day we went to the Magic Kingdom. We had planned on staying until the evening firework show but by 3:30, we were headed back to the hotel limping. Our legs were so sore and we were too tired. And that proves we are getting old!

We got to see the parade and the man of the hour!

Then there was a show at Cinderella's castle.

Then we ate...again. We ate the entire trip!

He let me drive the go kart. 

That night we went to dinner and headed to play putt putt. I won't brag too much, but two games later...I was the champion. 

The final putt to decide if we would tie or I would be crowned the winner.

I win!

The 2nd day we headed to Universal and Island of Adventures. Soooooo fun. Harry Potter world was here and I couldn't wait to see it. It was awesome and the ride was by far the best! LOVED it!

I did a horrible job taking pictures. I never took my good camera in there and just used my phone.

We went to Charlie's Steakhouse the last night for dinner and stuffed our faces. I mean, I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to walk out of there. But hands down the best steak I've had in a long time!

We had such a great time but it was definitely a short trip. It was still long enough to miss our sweet little man though. I couldn't wait to see him. It's better now when we leave because he does try to talk to us on the phone when we call. :)

Last night we all three went to Garibaldi's for pizza. Mason never eats well at a restaurant so we were thrilled when he ate over 1.5 pieces of pepperoni pizza! We came home and I gave him a bath. John never lets him play very long when he gives Mason a bath and I was trying to show him that he loves playing in the tub. Well to my surprise, I left him in too long and he pooped!!!! Just plopped out a turd in the tub! And he FREAKED out when it touched him. We had to stick him immediately in the shower. The entire thing was traumatic for the little guy. (not to mention to us!) Here is the face he had for the next 20 minutes...

He was so upset! Hopefully he won't be doing that ever again!!!
