We have been having fun over here....
Except when we are rupturing ear drums. =(
Good thing it didn't bother him too much. Although about the time we got home, he really started to feel crummy.
College Football Friday!
It was also Mr. E day at school. He is the main maintenance man on campus and all the kids love him. We made him a special card and got him Mason's favor candy. We also got to "tip our hats off" to him.
But as you can see, Brody was not up to par. He stayed home with me Friday to help me run errands.
We had planned to go to the football game as a family but Brody was still running a fever. We were sad he wasn't there but knew he was being spoiled rotten by his Mickey Mouse.
Mason got front row for the walk of champions and was able to high five all the players.
We got some Ole Miss tats. He wanted to take a selfie to make sure it was really on his cheek.
I would describe the game in one word : HOT. I feel like we are avid football fans but honestly, we were ready to leave within five minutes. We were basically in a scorching hot, metal bowl. We stayed until halftime, packed up our stuff, and headed home before the game was even close to being over. Good thing Mason was such a good sport.
He seemed a little more interested in the actual game this time. I know he had one excited Daddy.
Meanwhile, we just continued to dig blood out of this one's ears. Has.
We rested on Labor Day.
Then went to Mom and Dad's for dinner. We had a little family game of soccer going on. (don't judge me by my kids' clothes and dirty hair)
John saved Brody's life a few times from the ball.
And we ate wayyyy too much food!
It was a long, relaxing, family-filled weekend.
