Brody is FOUR!

It has been a big week around here.
We now have a four year old.
This post has a million pictures from a fun birthday week.

We also bought battleship.  It has been a ton of fun.

Going to bed as a three year old.

And woke up as a four year old.
(he only ate one donut!)

Showing us how he really feels...

No, he was pretty happy. =)

We had gotten his gifts the weekend before, but it was still just as exciting.

He did have to go to school that morning, but we brought donuts and Batman plates for his classmates.

Mason and Mickey Mouse picked him up around 10 and they headed to Build A Bear.
As you can tell in this picture, he loved it.

Brody picked a giant Chewbacca, Mason got Boba Fet.
They do love some Star Wars.

Next up was Chikfila, then Finding Dory at the movies.

We met Robert, Becca, and the kids for a birthday dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant.

I would say he had a fabulous birthday.

Ending the day with a selfie.

Friday night, Mickey Mouse and Pops came over to deliver his birthday present.  Of course it was pouring rain outside.

Star Wars bike for this ninja turtle.

So happy.

Mickey Mouse never disappoints.  She also got some new play costumes.
Mason got a storm trooper.

Brody was in Heaven with Flash.

We woke up to the sound of heavy rain Saturday morning....the morning of the birthday party.
The guys dropped off this giant slide early in the AM.
It almost took up our entire yard.

But a couple of hours before the party, it finally stopped raining and the sun came out.
We had one happy little guy.

The only problem was the yard was already soaked and muddy.
It made for a very messy day and a disaster of a yard....but it was worth it.

This slide was definitely bigger and faster than the last one we rented last time.
I didn't get as many pictures of the kids on the slide this year.

Brinkley and her braid. =)

Reese.

Brody.

Cupcake time.

He was so happy everyone was singing to him.

But also so shy.

He went to blow out the candles...

And poor thing fell out of his chair.

One more time. =)

Alex and Levi.

The three amigos.

Brinkley and Brody.

Brody loved that Will was there.

Hugh Hefner and all his present...

He saw his presents and asked, "Are those all mine?!" with the biggest grin on his face.

Batman Band-Aids.

Back to slidin'

Thankful for all these ladies.

Captain America in the house.

Captain America was glad he had Gma Reba to play his remote controlled number cars.

The guys didn't come back until 9pm to pick up the slide.  Once the party was over, we may have gone down a few more times.

I mean how happy is he!?!

Mason flipping.

John decided to have a turn.

Brody and I broke the rules and went down together.

I just love that they love each other so much.

Crashed and burned.

These two parents were WORN OUT.
We cleaned the house up and were done.  Once we finally sat down, we did not get back up again.

Brody is silly and shy; and quiet and loud.  He adores his big brother. He loves all things superheroes and Star Wars (because of his brother).  He stalls at bedtime at least 10 times a night.  He LOVES waking up in the middle of the night and crawling into our bed.  He loves his iPad and Imaginex figures.  He enjoys taking apart Mason's lego sets (Mason does not approve).  He hates naps and never takes them on the weekends....but he will fall asleep in the car.  He loves his school and friends.     And he likes to do what he wants to do when he wants to do it.  Hey, he's the baby of the family.

Just can't believe our baby is four.
Where in the world does the time go?!
