Weekend Shenanigans

Brody had family chapel day last week at school.  It was pretty short and being so far away while at work, I had to miss.  Thankfully, Mom got to go and Brody was very happy.

Although, they need selfie lessons....

Brody just LOVES his new school.  He is learning so much so quickly.  So far, I would say this was the best decision for him.  

He also continues to come home with the biggest mess on his clothes. 

Walking home from school Friday after playing on the playground....it was HOT.

Saturday we had soccer.  Another hot day.
Teagan wanted to come watch Brody, and since both boys' games were at the same time, we weren't going to be out there for hours.  

Brody was very excited she was going to be there watching him.  He was even more excite she got to ride in our car with him.  

Go Bulldogs. 

Game 3 was much better for this guy.  He has really improved.  He ran the entire time he was out there, almost scored twice, and seemed to be having fun.  

John was up with Mason at his game, and we were texting back and forth when each kid was actually in their game.  I ran back and forth between the two.  

Mason ran hard out there the whole time.  He felt MUCH better this week.  

He had a shot on the goal and was so close to scoring. 

Back down to Brody's fields.

After soccer, we decided to grab some pizza.  

These two are two peas in a pod. 

Since everyone was healthy, back to church we went on Sunday.  Brody was so excited he got a new Lego piece until he told us he took it from the Lego bin at church....meaning he stole it.  We kind of laughed about it but explained we would have to take it back next week.  He realized what he did and was so sad.  Poor guy.  

Sunday was a beautiful day until it wasn't.  We had a heavy, heavy downpour for just about ten minutes.  The boys had been outside playing and got soaked.  

They had a blast. 

Bad thing about a quick rain shower is that baseball was cancelled.  We didn't know until about 30 minutes before.  He was not happy. 

Spirit Week is this week at TOES.  

Wear an eye patch was yesterday.  Getting ready for Tiger Walk.
