Football and Basketball

We have gotten sucked into the NFL playoffs.
This is my life with three boys in this house.

Brody's class won the Spring Creek spirit night. They each got THE t-shirt (it gets you free ice cream every time you wear it there) and a $10 gift card.  It was burning a hole in his pocket!  Thursday nights are our ONLY night with no sports (this is including Friday nights) so we promised him we would go!

He was very proud to "pay" for dinner.

Right now, the weekends are for basketball.  Practices Friday night and Sunday afternoon and games Saturday.  It is always so much fun to watch!

Mason's team played the best team in the league and one of his best friends is on that team.  But team Hot Sauce did soooo well.  We lost by 2 and had a shot at the end of the game to tie it.  So close!  Mason had a couple of shots blocked (by all the tall kids on that team!) but he also got fouled and shot free throws to help his team.

Brody's team was up next.  Unfortunately, we had FOUR kids out.  So crazy.
But we have a big team so we had enough kids.  We were a little nervous having some kids out but they ended up winning 25-6.

Brody scored 8 points and was super proud.  He had a career high day.  Ha

Ice cream celebration after.

John is never going to pass on a sundae.

We had to take a headshot of John for work and this was the best we got.
This guy won the President's Award at work.  We are headed to the Ritz in Naples, FL next month.
He is sooooo deserving of it.

We cancelled basketball practice on Sunday and had a baseball get-together at the park.  With our extra fundraising money from the fall, we were able to get the boys matching Boombah baseball bags.  They had no idea and were so excited.  And the bags are awesome.

We are so lucky to have this baseball team as a family.

Brody had been begging for Madden 20.  Since he had several unused gift cards, we let him spend his own money.  He has loved it so far and so has his Dad and brother.  Ha.

I will watch real football games with them but playing video games seems a bit out of reach for me!  I will just sit on the sideline and cheer them on!  Ha.
