Little Brower Men: Rocker B and a TON of baseball

Brody and the Knights decided to go to Rocker B this year for a tournament. It was a BLAST. We were able to stay on property which is just amazing. It will always be one of our favorite baseball weekends because the ranch is just so wonderful. It is such an experience win or lose.

We checked out of school a couple o hours early that day and went on down!

Mason jumped right on in that pool.

We had one game Friday night and one Saturday. But we were able to sneak in a little fishing first. Every boy on this team had a blast fishing.

The Moms put together fun baskets for the boys while they were entertained.

I had this fun t-shirt made for Brody. He thought it was hilarious.

The boys participated in the HR Derby and the Golden Glove challenge against all the 9U kiddos.

The Gold Glove was what Brody wanted to try. There were a lot of boys but only about 9 made it to the second round and he was so excited to make it.

The boy has always been up for a challenge. No denying that. He knew what he had to do to win and did just that.

And Brody won. He gave a big fist pump after.

He won a $300 glove. Dad was happy too Ha

But back to fishing they went.

Mason lived his best life all weekend. We had a tab open at the restaurant and bar and he was free to roam the place with the older brothers the entire weekend.

The Knights ordered pizza and we all sat on the porch watching the sun set.

The boys fished all night long, played basketball tetherball, and tennis. They also were able to watch some of the other games going on. It was perfect!

We were all so exhausted! Ha.

We played the team we beat the day before but just didn't have it in us. We didn't play the best baseball all weekend but honestly, it was okay. We had the BEST time.

And even though baseball was over, the fun wasn't!

We spent the next couple of hours out there swimming, watching NFL football, fishing, and mingling.

The weekend was so fun that we are headed back this coming weekend! Not staying on property this time!

The boys got home and wanted to fish with their friends. I mean I have no idea why they weren't ready for bed. The older boys rode their bike to the neighborhood over and we drove Brody.

Mason went to his first middle school football game and I instantly felt like he was old! Ugh. He is the last kid without a cell phone (which is absolutely ridiculous) so we had to time pick up just right.

The Dirtbags have enjoyed league play games midweek.

Here we start a million baseball pictures. A Mom on Mason's team is amazing at grabbing pictures and sending them out.

Speaking of phones, we surprised Mason with one as an early birthday present. He has been very patient. He hasn't harassed us about getting one or even been angry. He has been so responsible with his grades and school this year (really, every year but he has been so big this year). We decided life would be easier in some aspects with him having a phone (and difficult in others). Of course no social media. He seems to have had a lot of business to take care of with all the messaging he has going on. Ha
