One Year Stats

We have had a fun week after the big birthday.  Brody and Mason have enjoyed playing with all the new toys...and fighting over them.  =)

They have also been playing superhero.  Mason with his cape and Brody with a construction worker Mickey Mouse vest.  Gotta use what you gotta use to be a superhero.  

Mrs. Pat has been on vacation all week so we have had to find other places for Brody to go.  Grandma Reba and Brody had fun together the first two days.  Then a coworker of mine took off and kept her little boy, who goes to Pat, and Brody.  

Here he was that morning...at 4:30am.  Yep, that was the time he woke up that morning. 

Of course he passed out on the way to her house. 

She sent me pictures all day and he had a blast.  

He also made quite a mess at lunch. 

This is what he does when he plays peekaboo.  He lays down like that and then pops up with a huge grin.  

Thursday and Friday, my mom kept him.  They went to his one year old checkup with Dr. Bubba on Thursday.  

One Year Stats:

weight: 22 lbs

height: 30.5 in

head: 90% still  =)

* we have switched to cow's milk but do have to warm it a tad

*switched to sippy cups (he only will drink out of one specific cup though!)

*eats any food cut up small (no more baby food)

*wearing 12 months

*size 3 or 4 diapers

*goes to bed at 6:30 and usually wakes up about 6am  

*has 6 teeth and one molar just started erupting (which has been causing an early wakeup)

*is just the sweetest and cutest little boy  =)

*took his first 3 steps the day before his bday, but that is about it!

Well we are headed to the beach tomorrow early morning.  I am so looking forward to relaxing family time for a week before all the crazy begins with moving.  I just pray the long drive won't be too terrible with a one year old.  

I know one almost 4 year old that is excited...

I told him to get his dancing shoes ready the other night and this is what he came out of his room wearing.  Those are his toy story slippers.
