I am behind blogging. My phone disappeared and we have just been busy!
We got home from Memphis on the Sunday after Thanksgiving and finished our Christmas lights. They are bright!
We also got a new tree this year and I also love it.
My fav tree is the one with all of our personalized ornaments.
Our elves also came back.
Brody got home from school on Monday and did not look good.
He just had a headache and a fever.
Always lays on the floor when he feels so bad.
Tuesday night, Mason's choir performed at the school. He had a speaking part and did great! So proud that he is able to do something outside of his comfort zone.
Spirit night was at Freddy's that night so everyone went to dinner after together.
We facetimed Trevor, who moved to Michigan, and all the kids were so excited!
Brody ended up not being able to shake that fever the rest of the week. Just awful!
He did get to go to work with John so he could make a meeting. This was Brody when he got back.....they went back home right away.
He didn't eat all week but was up for his favorite hot chocolate by Friday.
And we were finally able to get out if the house. Fever-free finally.
(but no school bc he had a fever Thursday)
Mailing out our Christmas cards!
We were 100% by Saturday. Mason had his annual choir performance at Six Flags. It was just me and the boys, John was out of town for work all weekend.
Thankfully, we met up with friends before and Mason rode almost every ride there.
He is crazy for riding this one!
After the performance, we had an even bigger group to ride rides with.
But that is about the time I sat my phone down next to me on the bench, walked away for TWO minutes, came back and that sucker was GONE. Like gone and disabled already. So so sad. John was out of town, I had no phone, and not very familiar with the interstates. BUT we made it home. I was a bit nervous. Unfortunately, we had to go to Apple the next day and buy a new extremely expensive phone. Just stinks but oh well. It's my own fault.
Monday night, we had a toy drive with some of Mason's teammates in Southlake. It was cold for like this one night. Go figure. I never get to buy Barbies so that is what we got!
We had our fun Bunco Christmas! It is always a blast but this year was the BEST! We did a scavenger hunt (which is where this picture is from) and my favorite things gifts. We each brought 3 of the same gift for $10 each. We all left with three awesome things!
We may have even played a game or two of flip cup before the night was over.
Basketball has started up.
Mason and I were the door holders.
We were happy to have John home his past weekend.
We had our favorite breakfast Saturday morning.
And we had TWO bday parties this weekend for some of our favorite friends!
Saturday afternoon we went to Grapevine which is always the BEST at Christmas.
Although it was warm out, we finally tried the chili parlor restaurant and loved it.
Mason got steak and is officially done with kids meals. Ha
And look who showed up at our table!
Mason went to the trampoline park with a friend, so Brody and I made some Christmas cookies.
Our elves got Emma with marker.
Nothing better than football and laser tag for a bday party!
We were pulling into the neighborhood after the birthday party and caught the tail end of our neighborhood Santa party. The boys hopped on Santa's lap just in time.
(nothing like shorts in December!)
Today was the annual Santa USA at school where Santa arrives in a helicopter. It really is just so much fun! There were no shorts today, it was 30 degrees cooler and we were freezing!!!!!
There he is!
Of course 4th Grade was a little too cool for Santa but I did manage to get a picture.
My neighbor friend Sarah and I handing out goodies to the teachers in carpool line!
Christmas Break is almost here!!!!
