Thanksgiving Break

Brody wrote his full name on his work.  Brody Wynn (he spelled it Winn) Brower Bawser.  I laughed so hard.  His baseball coach calls him Bowser and he was trying to write it.

We had baseball tryouts for Brody Saturday morning and then decided to go on and leave for Memphis right after that.  It was a cold, foggy morning so perfect for driving.  We got to Memphis late Saturday night, woke up the next morning, and they were begging to see their cousins.

Off to their house we went.

Emma made herself right at home.

I took the kids out to try and get a good Christmas card photo!
I MUST schedule family pictures next year!

We got to see one of Reese's soccer games and one of Griff's!  Super fun.

We were also able to squeeze in a Friendsgiving with all the gals and their hubbys.

It was Pop's birthday on Wednesday.

We showed the boys downtown Memphis.

And had a yummy lunch.

We took Pop's out for old fashioned ice cream shakes.

And then walked around the Collierville Square.

We sang Happy Birthday.

And Brody made sure Mason didn't blow out the candles.

John and I were able to meet up with Robert and Becca for a fun night.

We spent Thanksgiving Day at Ms. Peggys.

And since Sean was gone, Uncle Wayne was in charge of frying the turkey.

We ate and then slept.

We squeezed in cousin time almost every single day.

Friday night Thanksgiving dinner at the Brower's.

We were planning to go home Saturday but it looked like it was going to rain all day on the drive home.  The kids really wanted one more day.  We ended up staying and watching football with lots of friends and their kiddos at Robert and Becca's house.  So much fun.

Nothing like oreos and milk before bed.

We had to say goodbye Saturday night and it was sad.  The boys kept saying they wish all their family could live in Texas with them.  We had SUCH a fun week!
