Let's see. I'm going back to the weekend before last. Mason had a two day tournament while Brody had 4 league play games. Mason's was a Men in Pink tourney so they wore pink socks.

Mason's team went 1-1 on Saturday.

This guy got the last out of the game and boy was it a catch at 2nd.
And he had been begging for a funnel cake at Mason's tourney since the day before.
Nothing like spending a ton of money on fair food at a baseball game. Ha
Brody's teammates older brother was in the same tourney so they had a fun day.
Mason's team won their bracket play game in a CA Tie Breaker. It was nuts. He ended up getting the final out at 3rd to win the game (should out to the 1st baseman for that good snag). Fun game!
The time schedule of these games are nuts. It was a Sunday night and here they are waiting for a game to finish at 9:00pm so they could play the semifinal game. If they won that, they would have to pay one more game!
It was a hard fought battle. We came back within one run to win it but we ran out of time. (truth be told, I didn't really want to have to be out there until midnight anyways! Ha) This team is beginning to mesh and it is fun to watch.
Speaking of fun teams to watch, Brody's team has had an incredible season. They are 25-2-1 playing some hard competition in a couple of tourneys. They found out last Monday that they had been bumped to AAA division because of their record. It is good and bad. They are so so deserving of it, but it is also a little harder to find tourneys for 8UAAA. But it is all working out and they should be soooo proud of themselves!

We were soooo lucky to get to go to Game 1 of the World Series.
Our good friend works with the Rangers and we got first dibs on tickets to purchase. Because of Covid, the MLB created a "bubble" and the games were all played here.

Friends and family were in front of us. It was amazing!

The game was amazing. Kershaw pitched awesome, they hit home runs, and stole bases!

Dodgers win!!! It was a late night but it was worth it!
And as of last night, the Dodgers won the World Series 2020!

Mason had a birthday party Saturday night for one of his teammates and friends from school last year. All the parents went to dinner which was a ton of fun.
Thanks coaches for letting them practice in the wet mud.....
It got COLD. Like very COLD.
High of 38 with misting rain a couple of days has been super fun.
Nothing a blanket and hot chocolate can't fix!
