Mason Turns ELEVEN!

Mason turned 11 last Friday.  We were originally going to go to a baseball tournament out of town but decided to switch tourneys last minute.  It is so hard to plan around baseball when you don't get your schedule until a couple of days before you play.  No big party here but we let him have a day of fun.

They were out of school on his actual birthday which is fun in itself!

Thursday night, he was dying to open what he thought was a wooden bat.  (That is all he asked for.)

He was pretty excited.  He has his name engraved, a grip, and his initials at the end.

Last night as a ten year old.

Woke up as an 11 year old.

Donuts with friends.  Owen spent the night Thursday night since no school Friday.

Mason wanted new Air Max Nikes last minute.
I took them to the mall and hunt them down.
He is getting expensive......I also had to buy him a SIZE 7!!!!

But he LOVES them!
We also ate at the food court which is always fun for kids.   Haha

Found a Bently on the way out.

Dinner was his choice and he chose well.  Dragon House it was.
The boys pulled up Anderson and Griff's baseball game and we watched at dinner.

THE BEST.

I made Mom's chocolate cake recipe with homemade icing and we sang Happy Bday.

And he made a wish.

We had early baseball games the next morning, so off to bed it was.
It was a very simple day, but he said he loved every minute of it.

Can't believe we have an 11 year old.
Time needs to SLOW down.
