My work hired a new hygienist so we spent a Friday doing CE courses and then had some fun. She took us to lunch and then Board and Brush. So much fun.
We have had some tough conversations with Mason lately. One of the Dads from Mason's old baseball team passed away from Covid. He had twin 10 year old boys and it is so very sad. John and Mason went to the funeral to show the twins their support.
One of his best friends from school has also needed support recently. His Dad had a massive heart attack at their home. We have been saying lots of prayers along with the tough conversations.
We were expecting snow a couple of Sundays ago.
It was all over the news and we were so excited.
We were ready.
But nothing really came.
It went allllll around us. North, South, East, West....just not Keller.
We played with friends all day in the snow and still had fun.
It snowed, just didn't stick!
When I say snowed, it snowed ALL day. But just wet.
My bunco friends went out for Mexican food and it was a blast!
We picked a book to read and discussed it at dinner.
And like always, she brought way too much!
John wearing ALL the new things.
Brody had an interception, 2 pt conversion, and a TD.
Mason unfortunately found a pole while the big brothers had their own game going.
We went for a late lunch at HG Supply which is fun and semi-outdoors.
It was a quick trip but we loved every minute of it!
Mom got home and Dad got his gifts!
Brody's outdoor winter football has been great so far. May be a little chilly but the sun has always been out. This last Saturday was the first one where it was gloomy. It was misting rain the entire time.
It was time to break out the weather pods. They help so much and are hilarious!
I finally went to the blood donor place next to my gym today. I have been meaning to do it to see about giving plasma. After all the paperwork, I was finally able to give blood. Then they let me know you can't donate plasma if you've had the Covid vaccine. Rats.
