Vacation Part 2

Many more pictures to come.   This was the Fourth of July.  We hung out at the pool, cooked a very good seafood dinner at the condo, and walked on the beach.  We then watched the fireworks on our balcony which turned out to be a perfect view.  The Little Man didnt make that though.  He was out like a light by then.

Where's Mason???

There he is!

Daddy swimming me around.

Playing in the water.

Daddy's sunglasses.

The beach was pretty crowded this weekend!  Lots of tents!

Our beautiful view.

Seafood dinner.  We also has oysters that aren't in this picture...sooooo good.

Waiting for the elevator.  One of his favorite activities of the trip.

His flag shorts.

Ready to go to the beach the next morning!

He LOVED kicking the beach ball in this grassy area.

The iPhone became entertainment at dinner while waiting.

Who loves Dippin Dots?!?!

Mason does!!

Sooo happy to take a picture...

Almost done with the pictures!  One more post.

Vacation (Part 1)

We got back from Orange Beach, AL tonight after a wonderful week.  We were very sad to leave.   I was a little worried about Mason...especially the long car rides.  We could not have asked for a better little boy!  He had no complaints riding in the car, was great outside on the beach and in the pool, and even at dinner.  I took a MILLION pictures so I am going to break it up into a couple of posts.

The Men and Little Man checking out the ocean the first morning.

The view

Playing in the sand for the first time!

Was a little unsure of the sand between his toes, but did very well!  Loved filling his buckets up with water and sand with his Gami.

Then we went to the pool.  I found this turtle and he loved it at the beginning.  But once he got the floaties on and experienced his freedom...the turtle was just to play in back at the condo!

Getting ready for round 2 on the second day at the pool.

Snack time or "nack" as Mason would say

Lizzard.

Mason LOVED jumping into the pool.  Would do it all day long!

After the morning fun of the beach or pool, we would come in around noon and eat lunch.  Then it was nap time.  Mason had the time of his life every morning but needed about a THREE hour nap everyday!  My mom would stay up in the condo with him and John and I would go back out for about an hour.  Here we are with out new beach chairs on our backs.  =)

Before dinner at the Hangout.

This is a behind the scene picture of trying to get this kid to take a picture!  Its hard work!

We went to the Hangout because there is music and some things for kids to do.  We had a good time but Mason was more into running around than eating. =)  Here he is with his Gami while we were waiting on the food.

I wonder who is giving Mason this banana snow cone...

of course, his Gami! =)

One of his favorite things to do back at the condo, playing in Pops shoes.

Walking on the beach.  Such cute footprints.

Showing Gami the water.  He kept saying "wee" everytime a wave would come up.

Our family

My mom, John, and I played cards once Mason and my Dad went to sleep.  (they go to sleep around the same time, ha)  I was the CHAMPION of our Speed games and tournament.

Sorry there are wayyyy too many pictures and the sad part is there are many more to come.  =)  But I guess you can't take too many pictures of the Little Man's first beach trip!

Ready for the beach!!!

We haven't been up to much lately. Just getting ready for our family beach trip!! We leave on Friday and that is all I can think about!

We did get a haircut finally. We love our hairdresser Mrs. Peggy! She is the best! Mason got his fair share of M & M's during the process.

We played with Mommy's shoes.

We helped the boys warm up for their softball game...

We went to Reese's birthday party and had so much fun swimming in the kiddie pool!!

We ate cupcakes at the party...

And then had to say our goodbyes.

Then we got some cool new red shoes...

And hung out with Pops.

But now we are sick. :(

We have an ear infection and a bad sinus infection. Not to mention, his tubes are no longer functioning.  Hopefully we won't have too many more infections so we don't have to get new ones. So we are on very strong antibiotics which should be a lot of fun on our drive to the beach! But we still can't wait!!!!!! It's almost here.
