2017 Rewind

We started 2017 with some snow.

Then, John and I went to Orlando to celebrate Mueller's 100th anniversary.

We saw Garth in Memphis (on the floor).
Checked something off my bucket list!

Mason finished his first basketball season.

We tried to find the gold.

Cheered on the Rebs in the new Pavillion.

Celebrated 10 years of marriage.

Spent the night in Oxford at the new Graduate hotel.

Took a "staycation" one weekend of spring break.
We swam, ate pizza, and had a sleepover in the suite.

Mason started spring baseball.

And he loved that his Dad was one of the coaches.

Mom and Dad sold their house they lived in for 30 years and moved to the Ville!

We celebrated Easter.

And then John and I sold our home on Dee.
It was our first home and the boys' first home.  We had a lot of fun days here, but it was time.
We were glad to see it go!

Went to a Redbirds game and brought our glove.

We celebrated Mother's Day with a yummy lunch.

Brody "graduated" preschool at CCA.
(don't worry, we gave him one more year until Kindergarten)

Summertime means summer camps.
First up was Collierville Dragon baseball camp.

We went to Orange Beach.

And lost his other front tooth from a boogie board/wave.

We went fishing in the ocean.

And had a blast.

It's always fun with cousins around.

After San Fran, we headed to Napa.

Made it to Napa.

We also got in a lot of swimming at Robert and Beccas!

And an 11 year DH reunion.

Brody turned 5.

And we had his party at the splash pad.

We got to go back to the lake this year!

It is always a favorite weekend.

Then we had to head back to school.

Brody in junior K at Faith Lutheran.

We had a solar eclipse August 21st.

We played fall soccer.

As well as baseball.

We took a long weekend to St. Louis for fall break.

We went to Six Flags.

It was the best Christmas morning yet.

We rang in the New Year with friends.

And each other.

It was a GREAT year.

Bye Bye 2017

I squeezed the boys into my schedule before the New Year to have their teeth cleaned.  Brody was such a big boy taking a pan.  He looks so little.  =)

It has been bitter cold here.  Like unbelievably cold.  The boys have been stuck in the house for weeks now.  They have found a love for Super Mario Go Karts.  They are learning from the best.

I took them last week to the orthodontist.  Brody is going to have to have an appliance made, and Mason is looking at braces in a few months.  Oh joy.

John and I were both off Friday, so we took the boys to see the new Star Wars movie.  It was great.  The Collierville movie theater was also great.  They have upgraded all the rooms with large recliners.  It is super nice.

I've been testing out my new roomba.
Emma doesn't seem to mind.

And we have also been using my new air fryer.
If it will get John in the kitchen....I will use it every night!!!

Instagram top 9 pictures.
We have had a very fun year.

We had dinner plans with friends for New Years at Andrew Michaels.
When we were leaving, the boys were begging to be in our picture.  Never happens.

We met first at Robert and Becca's and played with Reese's hoverboard.
Thankfully, all adults survived.

We had such a great night.  It took a little longer to get seated, so we were there for a while.  But that is never a problem when you are in good company.  We just chatted all night long.

Love him.
Think this was our 18th New Years Eve together.

I cannot say enough about the food.  It was amazing.
We will definitely be back soon.

Nothing like good friends to bring in the New Year with.

We hosted New Year Day lunch at our house.  I think it may have gotten up to 20 degrees that day.
It.  Was.  Freezing.

First fam picture of 2018.

We had all the good stuff.

This is where I sat all day.  And you better believe I never took those Uggs off.

Caught these little guys in Mason's room the other night like this.
They sure do love each other.

They haven't been able to do too much during Christmas break because of the weather.  They have been pretty bored being stuck in the house.  They just love to be outside playing.

Mom and the boys broke out and went to Chickfila.

This kid loves to be lazy sometimes.
It was time to put on his shoes, so he brought them to me and laid down like his.  What?!

Back to school today and basketball game tonight.  Mason was super excited.
