We had our first t-ball game Friday night. Mason was super excited about it and even prayed for no rain the night before. This year has been much more enjoyable playing with his friends at school. He loves it. (he also begs for "spiky hair")
No rain = game on.
How cute is he out there?!
He hit really well each time.
And gave high fives to his favorite coach.
Runnin to third.
He had some cheerleaders out there.
They also helped babysit this wild one who just wanted to "play t-ball with Bubba".
He was finally happy just putting on the helmet.
We lost but who cares?! They all had fun and didn't even know. =)
And Brody was finally excited his brother was back with him again. Separation anxiety much??
John and I had been looking forward to seeing what Wiseacre Brewery was all about. We went Saturday afternoon for Jake's birthday celebration at their Taste the Rarity Beer Fest. I am not a beer fan (especially all the crazy ones) but it was so fun. And of course John was in heaven checking off all the different beers in the app on his phone.
The Grizzline was amazing.
It was just a tad sunny.
We got home in time to finish watching the Grizz win.
Sunday I woke to handpicked roses with a card signed by my favorites.
We didn't get to go to church because some little two year old appears to have pink eye. Next best thing was to hook up the sprinkler.
John ran Brody into the water against his wishes but he laughed the whole time.
Sunday afternoon, we had some special women in our lives over to grill out and celebrate Mother's Day.
And a handsome gentleman.
Mason was so sweet all day making sure we were doing what I wanted to do. He was the first to tell everyone Happy Mother's Day when they walked through the door. He has such a kind heart.
Brody was a little too busy to take pictures.
John with his Mom and Grandma.
After we ate, we did some swingin'.
And some crazy sliding.
And looked like little orphan boys when it was all said and done.
Boys will be boys.
