I think Brody is having fun going to speech at his brother's school...
Boy's Scouts has really gotten started, and this boy is really enjoying it.
We had his shirt this night but not the full uniform yet
We took an empty jug to make a bird house.
Playing games while the parents cleaned up the mess. =)
He was pretty proud to hang it.
John had a work dinner so I took him. I tried my hardest to get the leaves and sticks glued on in a symmetrical manner, but the troop leader quickly told me "Mom, it isn't supposed to be pretty".
They got to dress like a zoo animal this past Friday to close out red ribbon week.
We went with a bat.....because that's all we had.
Friday night we got to see the twins play soccer.
It was a perfect night for it, and they were awesome.
We went to their house after for pizza, cupcakes, and pumpkin carving time.
They all got down and dirty removing the guts.
These three are a mess.
We have two ghosts and a Jabba the Hut.
On the other side, we have a Yoda and a one-eyed monster courtesy of Mason and Reese.
Fun crew.
And too many cupcakes!
Saturday, John and I headed to Oxford. Thankfully, football season is almost over. Ha.
And why in the world was it soooo hot at the end of October?!?!
The game didn't go exactly how we had hoped.
But it was loud and fun.
These guys elected not to go.
I think they enjoyed putting Legos together instead of the hot sun.
We made Brody's Halloween party treats Sunday afternoon.
And really got into the Halloween spirit!
They had a hard time understanding why Halloween was on a school day.
Brody's preschool had their annual costume parade.
Chewbacca was excited.
After the parade, the teachers had a fun trunk or treat outside for them. They did a great job.
And then it was junk food party time!
We picked up Mason from school and headed home to get ready for Halloween night!
Mason demanded we take this picture....
Out of our neighborhood friends, we had 3 Kilo Rens.
Mason is so serious in costume...
We had such a fun night.
We all walked around together and the kids had a BLAST. It was the best Halloween for us to date because Brody was finally old enough to really understand and enjoy it. He kept saying "this is the best day ever!"
Me and the new Rogue 1 character.
There were tons of kids out and Mason got to see several classmates.
It was way too hot thought. Poor Brody sweat in that costume!
My parents wanted to come over to see the boys and hand out candy. There were so many trick or treaters so they had a blast. We are so thankful, because we loved being able to walk around together instead of one of us staying back to pass out candy.
It is obvious I live in a house full of boys, and I wouldn't change it for the world. =)
