The boys had been begging to go to Hurricane Harbor and Thursday finally seemed like the perfect day. We had no practices that evening and John was out of town, so we didn't even need to be home at a particular time.
We invited one of Mason's friends who is a Hurricane Harbor pro. I figured it would be good to have Mason a riding partner.
It wasn't too crowded since it was a Thursday and the weather was perfect. It was in the 80's!
Since we have Six Flags annual passes along with their food passes, it was a free day.
You cant beat that. Brody loves the all you can drink Gatorade.
We rode almost every ride there. Brody was so brave and rode almost all that he could. So proud of him. We had a blast! Here they are eating our "snack" for the day.
We have a lunch meal, snack, and dinner meal.
Since we were still there at 6pm, we grabbed dinner on the way out.
I have a feeling we will be back again this summer!
The boys did great the entire day.
It is so difficult to put the kids to bed with it being so light out!
I mean it is not all the way dark at 9!

Since OTF had no childcare, I had to freeze my membership and join Keller Pointe (which we were going to join anyways). I have been trying out new classes and have really enjoyed it.
Mason got a new summer cut with that detailed line for the part.
He loved it.
We went to Keller Pointe Friday afternoon. It has become a weekly thing. And we keep running into friends. Both boys ran into some of their best buds and left me high an dry.
Brody and Broccoli.
We have had so much fun with his new baseball team friends.
Saturday was another baseball tournament for this kid.
Had to get his game face on.
They went 2-0 in pool play and were the 2nd seed in bracket play. It was a fun day too. The fields were super short so fielding was key. They made so many great plays. Brody got a few outs, even caught a pop fly to the outfield.
This kid did not have a tournament and got to watch his brother play. He was very loud in cheering on Keller Gold and also very vocal about bad calls.....lol.
Because we were playing a Southlake/Coppell tournament, we had to play Keller Blue in a pool play game. We have come to realize the "home teams" won't ever play us and they pool us up with the better teams. It is pretty funny, but stinks we had to play our Keller Blue friends bc someone had to loose.
After the game, they all came together to say a prayer and give a 1-2-3 Go Keller.
Brody and Mays got to talk to their old coach, Coach Josh after the game. (but we are all friends now and see each other often, this was just the first time we had to play each other)
Hate that they aren't all on the same team, but glad we get to see each other out there!
We were done with baseball by 11:30 which was a first. We had a birthday party for Mason's teammates that afternoon and we were all able to go.
And then on Sunday, the tournament didn't start until 1:00pm so we were able to go to church! First time in a few weeks. Brody was happy because it was "upgrade" day in Sunday School and he now gets to be in the same room with Mason!
We got out to Coppell a little early to see Keller Blue play their first game but as we were driving in, the sky was turning really dark. And it wasn't supposed to rain.....
Everyone was leaving the fields and walking to their cars due to a weather delay when we pulled up. We had to wait in the car for over an hour and watch 70 mph winds come through. It was crazy. They finally called the games and we had to go home. Brody was NOT happy it was cancelled.
We had a childcare dilemma for Monday and Wednesday this week. Thankfully, my neighbor was able to watch the boys yesterday. We signed them all up for PE camp at the school in the afternoon, but she watched them in the morning. Looks like they had fun.....
John is going to work from home Wednesday to cover the other day.
Since Brody's tournament got rained out, we decided to play in a weekday tourney this week and next. First game is tonight!
