Brody had a teammate's birthday party Thursday night. It was in the Heritage neighborhood's pool which is amazing. We almost bought in there just because of it. He had so much fun.
Most of the Keller Gold team plus some siblings.
Mickey Mouse and Mason went on a pizza date while we were at the party.
We took Mickey Mouse to Keller Pointe Friday afternoon.
Brody had practice Friday night while John and I went to to dinner with my coworkers and their spouses.
We went to a great winery in Grapevine and then dinner down the street.
Saturday morning was Brody's last baseball tournament of the season.
Waiting for their game to start.
This little dude loves playing baseball.
Ended Saturday going 1-1.
Off to swim for the afternoon. (Although don't tell coach, he said no swimming....)
Mason went to his friend's to swim. Ha.
Sunday morning was Keller Gold's last tournament.
Photobombing.
We were all ready to cheer him on.
Most of the big brothers finished up baseball last week at the world series, so they were all there to watch the little brothers. They were the score keepers.
The team didn't start the game too well. They fought hard though. They were losing by 7 (which was the run limit each inning), shut them out the next inning, and we scored 7 runs to tie. It was an intense game. Ha. But in the end, we lost. Brody got a triple to start the rally but we we ended up losing.
I finally got a video with his walk up music. He was the only one with rap music, and he would chose the song again if he could. HAHA
I mean how cute are these kiddos. Every single one of them LOVE baseball. More than half of them have older brothers who play ball. They are a very talented group of boys and have some serious baseball IQ for being 6. It was quite impressive! They had a great season despite not ending the way they had hoped. They went 15-4 winning 3 out of the 5 tournaments. I would say that is a pretty good record. We were also able to meet some pretty awesome families.
This one improved so much throughout the season. He was still getting used to his new bat when we started but he figured it out quickly. So proud of him.
Since we were done with baseball so early Sunday, we grabbed Mickey Mouse a ticket and all went to Hurricane Harbor. May not have been the best decision because it was super crowded, but the boys didn't care, they enjoyed it.
One more big baseball tournament and then we are done for a month! Summer is flying by!
