Summer Fun has Begun

Nothing screams summer like these old school popsicles.

Sharing snacks with our neighbor friend Will.

Attacking Pops.

Friday night street racing.  Mason is annoyed that I am snapping a picture....or that anyone thinks he could possibly lose.

Working on our golf game.

Saturday morning we went to Millie Drew's birthday party and had a blast.

There were hayrides.

And sweets galore.

Water fun.

And there was even a photobooth.

The Brower crew.

Our cousins came over after the party to eat lunch and try out our slip-in-slide.

Always holding a Batman, Green Lantern, or Superman.

Mason and Reese had a blast.

Brody was having issues...

Think they wore themselves out?!

Brody never falls asleep like this.  A fun day was had by all.

John and I went to the golf tournament for a couple of hours Sunday....well until we were sweating entirely too much and felt our skin roasting.

Phil Mickelson's gallery

Walking to our car after dinner Sunday night, I kept telling Brody to hold my hand because we were in a parking lot.  Mason got serious about it when Brody wasn't listening.  Kept pointing that finger saying a car was going to hit him and it would be his own fault.  Ha.  You can see Brody is talking back to him too...

We had a friendly, family competition to see who could catch a firefly first.  John didn't think it was going to be fun but he was the one who tried the hardest....of course I won.  =)
Actually, Mason spotted it first but couldn't
reach it so he technically won.   I just helped.

Brody drinking his milk out of the bowl.  He does this every single morning.

But good news, he has finally caught onto this potty training.  For real this time.  He doesn't mind going at home anymore....but he must stand up.  It's what "big boys" do.

Mason was proud of his lava lamp he made in Science class this week.  He is grinning ear to ear.

Little guy in a little shirt.  Think we need to clean out the closet before Daddy dresses him.
