John had to go out of town and Mom came in town. Although my job is only two days a week, it still makes it challenging shuffling kids to baseball after work those two days. John takes care of it so when he is out of town, I'm in a bit of a bind.
And she brought Easter goodies since we won't be making it home for Easter. Easter is on Sunday obviously and the kids have to go back to school Monday (as well as John and I having to work). The boys both have baseball games Friday and Saturday, so going home is impossible.
John was sending these pictures while I was working.....ha
Spotted him on tv. He's the creepy guy in the red hat and sunglasses. How lucky is he that this is his THIRD time to go to the Masters. And every time, he has been there for actual play.
Lunch dates.
Mason's teacher sent me this. They had to write a story about where they would be in 25 years. It was super cute. He also wrote it all in cursive. When he started at Shady Grove, he realized everyone learned cursive here in second grade, and he didn't know it. He taught himself with the letters on the wall (and help from the teacher) and loves writing in cursive on papers.
Mikey Mouse got to see Brody's baseball game.
He got to put on the catchers gear.
Hawaiian shaved ice cream after the game.
John came back home Saturday and brought us some Masters gear.
At least I got a coffee cup.
This kid struggles listening to us. Big time struggles. So we went old school and he had to write he will be obedient 50 times.....
Finally tried Sprite and is forcing himself to like it....
It was a rainy Saturday, so a perfect day for an indoor art birthday party with his friends.
Masters Sunday so Mason wore his new shirt at church.
It was an exciting Masters for sure!
Sunday afternoon we got the ole bikes out again.
And this kid is finally attempting to learn to ride without training wheels. We kind of skipped bike riding last summer with all the craziness of moving.
He is a bit scared of his own shadow. So....he can totally ride it by himself, but then stops it by putting his feet down.
But he pretty much has the hang of it.
