We had Spring Carnival last Friday night. Unfortunately, Mason had baseball practice and didn't get to go. Thankfully, he loves it and didn't mind one bit.
Only in Texas....
Saturday was so nice out. There are 17 fields at the Keller ballpark and go figure, there was only one that was too wet to play on and it was our field.
So no game for Brody + Mason had practice on Friday instead of Saturday = a free day.
We went to the Keller Crawfish fest.
This one loves crawfish.
We got home and after a couple of hours, John and I were bored to death. The kids played outside all day with neighbors, but John and I were bored. We decided to buy Rangers tickets and go to the game. Turns out, it was bobblehead night. They boys were SO excited when they handed them out.
Such a beautiful night.
The boys were playing outside after church on Sunday and came in yelling that the heard an ice cream truck. They were right. And good news, she took debit cards!
Monday night we finally got a game in.
And this kid got an unassisted triple play. He was playing pitcher and caught a line drive. He ran right to the kid running home and tagged him out. Of course those poor 6 year olds had no clue to tag up. (and since Brody has an older brother and loves baseball, he knew to and tag them) He headed to the kid trying to get back to first but got there first. He (and his team and coaches) were SOOOO excited. We actually had been losing by 1 but 3 quick outs before they scored made it a win for the Indians!
