My Little Man is...

10 Months Old today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know I say this every month, but I cannot believe he is this old!  He is learning something new everyday.  He has the best little personality and is the most loveable little guy ever. And personally, I think he's just the cutest! =)

So...we had a slight problem with his shorts today.  Mom noticed an outfit she had bought him a while back that was still in his closet with the tags on it.  She wanted me to go ahead and have him wear it since it was a 6-9 month outfit (and he did turn 10 months today!!!!!).

I put him in it this morning.  He is pretty hard to get clothes on and off, so by the time I saw his shorts were too big...it was kind of too late.  I warned Mrs. Pat when I dropped him off at daycare and just assummed he would be running around in his diaper when I picked him up this afternoon. 

Here they are all rolled up!  Haha.  I can't believe they aren't even close to fitting!!! 

When I walked in to get him, Mrs. Pat told me that he had them on for a little while today.  But when she picked him to change his diaper at some point, toys just started dropping out of his shorts!  I guess his shorts were so big that he didn't quite know what to do so he thought "hey, why don't I just store all of my favorite toys?!?!?"  I laughed sooooo hard!

Anyways, I started looking through his closet tonight to see if any shorts would fit him and I found these...

They fit pretty well...but they are THREE months!!!!  Yes, that's right, three months.  As you will recall, we are TEN months.  Guess we have a little guy on our hands! =)

Finding New Things Everyday!

I found out I can sit under the coffee table!!! Yay!

  I have been working hard on letting Mason know he cannot play with our remotes.  This morning John had already taken away my magazine (which Mason did not like) so he thought this was a compromise to play with the remotes?!?!?  A compromise????  haha 

Looks like I'm going to have to be the "tuff one"!

Last night my parents came over for a minute to see Mason.  John was working late again so I was glad to have company.  We took a few pictures in his cute outfit.

Mason LOVES to try to pull all my dad's pens and things out of his shirt pockets.

And apparently he loves to eat his face...

Well we have a pretty lazy weekend ahead of us!

Some New Moves!

We have just been in our same good ole routine lately.

Well we have learned a couple of new things lately...

1.  temper tantrums

They are over anything such as computers, remote controls, cell phones, etc.

2. Crawling/Standing. 

This child will start crawling and then straighten up his legs like he can just stand on up???  Im afraid standing up by him self is soon to come!

Fun Fun Weekend!

We had a wonderful couple of days this past weekend.  Saturday John, Mason, and I met my mom at Red Robin for lunch and then the three of us headed to the mall for a little tax-free shopping for the fall.  We ended up not getting home until four!  I felt like we were gone all day. 

Here is the Little Man sporting his new funny, yet practical, hat my mom got him.  He is also wearing these shoes/socks I found at Target.  To be honest, I have been a little worried about this trasition of wearing shoes because quite frankley, he hasn't really worn any!  I hope these help!

Here we are before we headed off to a baby shower for our family friend Tootie.  She is having a little girl and who knows...one say she could be Mason's main squeeze!

Mason did really well at the shower and his big blue eyes won everyone over! =)

Saturday night John and I went to Fleming's for dinner!  It was so yummy and we had a really good time and just enjoyed our conversations.  It was much needed. After dinner, Robert and Becca, Dave and Jenna, and Jake and Blake all came over.  We went to Brookhaven and had a good time to say the least!   Can't wait to do it again! =)

Little Man's Best Friend

This morning Mason was enjoying a soggy biter biscuit, while Emma begged and danced in hopes of a reward...

Emma decided maybe Mason wasn't so bad...

And now they are best friends!!!! =)

Last Weekend...The Lake!

Last weekend the whole fam went to our friend Dave's lake house at Pickwick.  He was sooo nice to let us bring Mason!  We had a very good time just hanging out with good friends.

Here he is Saturday morning playing with this awesome toy car his Gami got him.  It was very helpful in keeping him entertained while everyone else slept!  Fortunately, Dave, Jenna, Jake, and Blake all slept upstairs while we were downstairs so I don't think he disturbed them too bad. 

After he got a little tired of his car, we took him outside to see the view of the beautiful lake!

Everyone left for the lake and Mason caught up on his morning nap while I read my book!

When they got back we had lunch, then rode jet skis and swam/layed out at the dock off their house.  I bought one of those infant life jackets just in case we needed it and it worked very well!!  He looked like he was being choked but I promise he wasn't.  He loved splashing the water and had such a good time!!!  (as long as the sun wasn't in his eyes)

Later, we ALL went out on the boat!  Mason slept at the beginning but then had a great time!!  I am sooooo mad at myself that I didn't take my camera on the boat and then was even madder when I realized my camera was set on manual when all of the pictures above were taken so they are slightly blurry!  Ugh!!!  I honestly wanted to go back out on the boat Sunday just to reinact the events from the day before!!  (including John and Jake on the tube together...Jake being Jake and getting up on his knees with John under him!  I can still see John shaking him head!  haha)

Sunday morning before we left I did manage to get an inside view of the lake from the house!  So pretty!

When we got home Sunday, we did blow up his baby pool and let him play in it for a little bit.
