It's definitely sweater weather around here these days.
Robyn brought us dinner last week. Who doesn't love gumbo?! It was delicious.
She also brought bread that apparently can be used as a baseball bat...
This kid, oh my. He will not leave his shoes or socks on in the car. This particular car ride lasted approximately five minutes. That's all it took.
We were headed to his ENT checkup. There's nothing better than entertainment in the waiting room.
His ears looked great. But he did have a small explosion in his diaper right before we left…and of course I left the diaper bag at home.
Grandma Reba brought us dinner Thursday night. Mason had some fun quality time with her and made her go upstairs a million times.
Kevin and Jessica brought us a couple of giant bowls of chicken noodle soup and cake Friday night.
Our tummies were filled and we kicked back and relaxed.
We had a busy busy weekend planned. Saturday, we headed to the Ole Miss basketball game. We decided to bring both boys since I recently had a conversation with Mason explaining why we don't need another baby (thats a separate post of funny things he says). I was telling him that next time we go to Disney World, Brody will be old enough to go but if we have another baby, we will just have to wait even longer (I was trying to do some serious convincing). Well he was confused as to why Brody would even be going to Disney because "Brody doesn't get to do all the fun things I do because he's a baby". He named off all kinds of things (such as the recent bowling trip) that Brody hadn't been to because he was young. Oops.
So we ALL went to the game. We met Ben and Melissa at Oby's for lunch before the game started. I really wish they had an Oby's here.
There were hardly any tickets left to buy when we decided to go, so our seats were on the top row. It was actually nice because it's a tiny stadium and there was no one in front or behind us so the boys could move around.
Brody was pretty into the game the first half.
John was teaching Mason the game of basketball.
Can you guess who this is? His feet were black when we left.
We started losing pretty bad and the boys were getting a little bored with it. I think at one point we were down by 15 points. We started a comeback with 7 minutes left and it got SUPER loud in there. Brody and Mason were screaming as loud as they could.
We all stood those last few minutes. It was the BEST game to be at.
Mason was literally yelling "Go Ole Miss" as loud as he could. He and Melissa were dancing with the music.
We won!
Got a picture leaving. They both did so good. Glad Brody could join in on the fun. =)
It's exhausting being an Ole Miss fan...
Ben and Melissa had been to Green Bay recently and brought Mason some fun things back. He got a t-shirt and his own cheese head. The kid was pumped.
Mason had a birthday party to go to on Superbowl Sunday. It was a Crossfire party at Dulin's (haven't been there since high school) for one of his friends in his class. It was an awesome party and he had so much fun.
They jumped off this ramp into the foam pit. The first two kids were scared and wouldn't jump but our little guy walked right up there and jumped as high as he could.
Then they did the trampolines strapped into the harness.
They also had several foam pit fights. These boys were in heaven. There was a zip line and it was awesome. They were strapped to a harness and flew through the building. They were all so light that they went so high and so fast. Mason loved it.
After the party, we headed over to Will and Catey's to watch the Superbowl. It was such a horrible game but we all had a great time hanging out. Lots of kiddos this year!!
