Brody was 7 months old this past Thursday. Time just flies by.
He's a pretty happy little fella.
But happiest when his older brother is around.
He puts EVERYTHING in his mouth.
He ripped his 7 month sticker off of his shirt and tried to eat it. This was the last of our little photo shoot.
At 7 months, Brody is:
*sleeping pretty good...not perfect, but good. i would say the last 4-5 nights, he has slept from 7:30 to about 6-6:30. before that was touch and go. he was getting pretty good at making me go in there and put a paci in his mouth.
*takes about five 6 oz. bottles a day
*eating oatmeal and fruit in the mornings, a couple of cubes of veggies for lunch, and oatmeal mixed with a little fruit and a couple of cubes of veggies for dinner
*Dr. Bubba told us we could start giving him little crackers to start munching on, or pizza crust. just something easy to pick up that will almost dissolve. well just like anything else new, he does not enjoy anything to this nature.
*pretty happy most of the time but lets ya know when he is tired or hungry. i would also say the closer we get to bedtime, the more he wants to be held.
*i have a picture to prove that when he does sleep, he sleeps HARD. i thought he woke up with a rash, but it was just from sleeping i quickly found out
*does not have any teeth, BUT he is so so close to getting two
*can sit up okay...i wouldn't say completely mastered it. he will still fall over face first after a couple of minutes
*he has started moving backwards a little instead of crawling forward. he just pushes himself back up on his hands on our hardwood floors
*wearing size 3 diapers and 6-9 month clothing
*taking on average two naps a day for a couple of hours
*has had an ear infection once and on his 7 month birthday, Thursday, he threw up for the first time. and I mean threw up everywhere....more than I would expect from a grown man. turns out his mama just put a little too much food in that belly and then John (thank goodness not me! ha) picked him up a little too fast. i even mentioned i thought he was eating a lot of food (right after a full bottle) but we agreed the doctor said he would let us know when he was full. this stuff was bouncing off of John's chest EVERYWHERE.
Here he is right after. Pretty content (and most likely hungry again).
I love holding him when he is like this. I just know eventually he won't let me do this anymore.
